The aim of the workshop is to learn the hook technique to create small rugs, bags and baskets, which can be decorated with beads, drawings or embroidery.
It showed a resource that lives alongside the local textile traditions, and complements the local handicrafts. The classes began with the most basic points, and became more and more complicated as the students developed. By the end of the week, each student wove and decorated at least one small piece, that they could later replicate independently.
In 2016, the first artistic workshop was conducted. It was a children’s illustration workshop for students of the primary school in Kamanar. The following activities were carried out:
▪ Facial expressions.
▪ Colour techniques with acrylics.
