In 2019, Gemma Aguyé, an economist specialist in business management, conducted a 4-day basic training course for learning how to manage a small business in Thionck Essyl. The course was conducted taking into account the Senegalese economic and corporate legislation, and aimed at small businesses in the area.

The first workshop was conducted with the aim of providing the management tools for the new carpentry workshop of Lamine Sambou.
