Florencia Cairo is a visual artist and Women’s Ambassador for Foundawtion, where she promotes spaces for exchange, visibility, and appreciation of women’s knowledge in Casamance. Since April 2025, she has collaborated closely with the women’s community of Thionck Essyl, building relationships based on trust, listening, and respect.

She facilitates meetings between the women of the village and artistic, educational, and cultural projects, acting as a bridge between their experiences and diverse creative initiatives.

Thanks to the work she has carried out over the past year, she has supported artists, photographers, and volunteers in their engagement with this community.
