Drawing, creativity, and t-shirt design workshop

From March 30 to April 3, 2026, Eloi Rocamora and Lola Royo, with the assistance of Pinja Ratilainen, taught a creative drawing and second-hand clothing customization workshop at the primary school in Thionck Essyl, aimed at about 80 children between 6 and 12 years old.

The proposal invited participants to explore creativity, identity, and personal expression through drawing and fashion. Conceived as a playful, cultural, and participatory experience, the workshop used play and experimentation as the main tools for learning and creation.

Throughout the sessions, participants developed their own imaginary worlds both individually and collectively, fostering creative freedom and spontaneous expression. Play played a central role, generating an environment of trust, enjoyment, and discovery.

The combination of illustration, body, and garment allowed ideas to be transformed into unique, visible pieces, celebrated in a shared final presentation.

The result was a dynamic and open experience, centered on the pleasure of the creative process and the construction of a collective culture through participation.
